ABOUT US
And Here We Are was founded in 2012 by Meghan Hopkins Sokorai. We are known for our irreverent illustrations, offbeat jokes and bold use of colors; and we are proudly woman owned and operated.
THE STORY
From a tiny Brooklyn NY apartment, and renting press time at a nearby letterpress studio, Meghan Hopkins Sokorai founded And Here We Are in 2012 as a designer- and printer-for-hire creating award-winning custom wedding and corporate event invitations.
In 2015, she and her husband relocated to Columbus, Ohio, to start their family. That year she bought her first presses (a Vandercook SP-15 and a tabletop C&P) and started to dabble in creating her own projects.
Meghan launched her first line of And Here We Are products at the National Stationery Show in 2017, and later that year moved the studio out of her home and into its first industrial location in downtown Columbus.
10 years, 2 studios, 3 presses, and hundreds of (thousands of?) products later, we are currently operating as a team of 12, working from our newest home, 5,000 square feet just north of the Columbus in Worthington, OH.
