ABOUT US

And Here We Are is a letterpress stationery and gift brand founded in 2012 by Meghan Hopkins Sokorai. We are known for our irreverent illustrations, offbeat jokes and eclectic use of color; and we are proudly woman owned and operated.

Meghan founded And Here We Are in 2012, creating custom wedding invitations in a tiny Brooklyn NY apartment and renting press time at a nearby letterpress studio. In 2015 she relocated to Columbus, Ohio, and bought her first presses (a Vandercook SP-15 and a tabletop C&P). She launched our first line of products at the National Stationery Show in 2017, and later that year moved the studio out of her home to a large studio space downtown, and added a Heidelberg Windmill to the family. In 2021, we relocated again to our current home on the South side of Columbus.

Our products have been sold in over 750 stores across the world, and we've partnered with brands such as Paper Source, Urban Outfitters, Hallmark, and Papier.

And Here We Are

OUR MISSION

And Here We Are fosters connection through joy, levity and validation.

Our brand values: joy, levity, connection, validation, inclusion,
empathy, beauty

We aim to promote social awareness through our art.

We regularly donate to charities and organizations

We match 100% of employee charitable contributions (up to $500) annually.

We consciously choose vendors based on whether their values align with ours (bye, Uline).

We reuse packaging materials and use environmentally friendly materials when possible.

We strive to be anti-racist and anti-misogynist in both our work and our personal lives.
